AhlulBayt News Agency: In a luminous narration, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) so emphasized the sacrifice on the day of Eid al-Adha that he even recommended borrowing money to perform it. He himself would offer two sacrifices: one on his own behalf, and another on behalf of those among his Ummah who yearned to sacrifice but did not have the means.
